Self-Powered vs. Electric

Uplift Technologies makes two different types of lifting cushions:

Electric Lifting Cushions - that lift 100% of your weight, up to 300 lb (136 kg). These cushions need to be plugged into a standard electrical socket.

Self-Powered, Assistive Lifting Cushions - will lift up to 80% of your weight from 80 - 350 lb (35 - 154 kg) – depending on the model you need. The lifting arm releases slowly as you begin to stand. No batteries or electricity are required.

UPEASY Power Seat  How to Use

Step 1
To rise, flick the Power Lever up, and then place your hand(s) on the arm(s) of the chair or sofa while you are being lifted.

Step 2

The UPEASY Power Seat will stop automatically when it reaches its maximum height; or you can stop it by gently pushing down on the Power Lever

Step 3

Now you can leave the armchair or sofa. The UPEASY Power Seat is ready to help seat you when you return to your armchair or sofa!
