Self-Powered vs. Electric

Uplift Technologies makes two different types of lifting cushions:

Electric Lifting Cushions - that lift 100% of your weight, up to 300 lb (136 kg). These cushions need to be plugged into a standard electrical socket.

Self-Powered, Assistive Lifting Cushions - will lift up to 80% of your weight from 80 - 350 lb (35 - 154 kg) – depending on the model you need. The lifting arm releases slowly as you begin to stand. No batteries or electricity are required.

How to Use

Step 1
When you sit down on the UPEASY lifting cushion, it eases you gently into a seated position.

Step 2

To get up, simply shift forward and begin to stand.  The lifting mechanism activates automatically.

Step 3

This provides a gentle and stable lift up from the chair or sofa.
